Still, still here... mostly.

Well, still busy and working, and traveling to do it. Just a reminder, I will travel. I almost love traveling as much as I love photography. Put them together, and OH MAN! While I love and adore my work in Washington, it's so fun to get a change of scenery and mix it up when I go out to the islands to work (which has been about once every 1.5 to 2 months lately). For copyright reasons, as of now, I am unable to share any of the wedding photography I have been doing there. But for now, here are just a few shots from one of my latest Hawaiian adventures. Can't go wrong with a good looking guy, a Porche, and the ocean!

I'm still here!

Wow. Such a long time has gone by since my last post. It doesn't, however, mean that I haven't been happily at work. The last few months have been some of the busiest of my life, both professionally and personally. I have been traveling to shoot weddings. LA, Eastern Washington, and Hawaii were a few of my stops. I'm excited to say that I am working with another photographer in Hawaii and will be flying out there much more frequently over the next few months to photograph weddings!

I also recently suffered the loss of my Grandmother, whom I had just moved my family in with to take care of. That was followed by my own sudden health issue that required spinal surgery and put me down for a month. So, alas, some things have been put on the back burner, such as blogging. BUT, my camera has still been busily at work!

As a photographer, when photographing weddings, the goal is to not be noticed; to blend in and become a quiet observer. It can be a real trick. Just know, if you don't see me, it doesn't mean I'm not working. The same applies to my blog. Probably means I'm working hard! I look forward to getting some of my recent photography on here again for you. Thanks for checking in. And double thanks for your support!!

Senior man.

This was my first senior portrait session for the year! This kid was great. I had a lot of fun working with his mom in the background. The two of them really fed off each other; making it a really good time. You could tell he comes from a close family! And I wish I could take credit for it, but the final picture was planned by his mom. Love how these turned out!

Bon Voyage single life.

This was a fun wedding for me to shoot, especially being on the water like this. I wasn't there for the actual ceremony (after the boat left the dock) but got to be a part of the special day beforehand. All the couples I have had the pleasure of working with have been really easy... but I'd have to say this one was about as relaxed and easy as they can get. Thanks for letting me be a part of the fun, and for making it so easy!

Let me tell you, this group was a real hoot. A total kick. A LOT of fun! What an easy session with so many people. I had a blast working with this family. As you can see below, they are beautiful! And they also have a sense of humor, as you can tell by the shenanigans going on in the last two photos. Thanks for the good time you guys!
